PURPOSE: Increase load capacity so that you can do more when you need to

STRENGTH ISN’T ABOUT LIFTING HEAVY WEIGHT OR GETTING BIG, IT’S ABOUT MAKING YOUR BODY MORE CAPABLE.
To drive that home you have to understand how injuries happen which we will outline in a video at some point but the ELI5 is that what got injured was either used too much or used incorrectly. Both things are fixable with a good strength program. The reason why strength comes last is that you’ve developed good and bad habits when it comes to interacting with the world. We need to re-train your brain first, then develop strength in those new habits.
Imagine a world were you don’t have to thing about how to lift your kid / how to lift the couch / how to move the lawnmower / how to do anything.
This is the result when you layer strength on top of the foundation built in phase 1-3.
Theres really not much else to say. Other than most of you will see the pictures here; think about lifting weight for strength, and think
“That’s not for me”
“I can’t lift heavy anymore cause my doctor said so”
“When I lift heavy it hurts my injury”
I challenge you then by wondering how will you lift your kid? Move the couches? Help your friends move out of their house? Is it the weight hurting you or how you are interacting with the weight?
